I was referred to Eve (at VSL hair salon) by a friend and thank God!! She's a hair DR. I had the best salon experience, the very best highlights and haircut ever!! Eve really listened to me and all of my needs- (finally a stylist that gave me their undivided attention and really cared)! Who would have ever guessed my hair could really look and feel like this! The best part- she showed me how to achieve healthy, fabulous hair at home! She really knows her stuff! I highly recommend her!

I usually get decent haircuts here - for the price difference, way better than the Hair Cuttery down the street. The terrible techno music that's always on is a bit annoying, but most of the staff are very friendly and the haircuts are good. They have a tendency to go way shorter than what I want, but with some gentle guidance you can get them to curtail that behavior.

This was a terrible experience all around. You would think that a place in such a prime location would provide better services. I spent a total of THREE HOURS getting my hair cut. I asked for a simple cut so that the back is shorter and longer in the front. The girl who cut my hair seemed unsure about what she was doing and simply said "don't worry, I learned this at school". An hour and a half later (with nervous giggles and "i'm sorry"s from my hairdresser), a more experienced hair dresser took over. Literally took the scissors from her and got to work. I was relieved at first but then he cut off about five inches more than I had wanted,I was left in worse shape. I had a very horrendous experience at this place. The manager apologized profusely as I was paying, but did not offer a discount.
