Went there for a veggie burger one day and was surprised how long it took to get served. In fairness it was late and veggie burgers might not be their thing.
On another occasion I went back and had the falafel.. tasty but still took quite a while to get my food. So it seems like a fast food atmosphere with fast food quality but slow food turnaround.. not great IMHO..
Still the food is no reason to avoid it. And, if you've got the time to wait around (or call ahead), the price point is definitely appealing enough to make it worthwhile.
Astor is clearly a local hangout and almost like a fast food joint. It's a great place to grab a bite and hang out with a friend, although the service is sometimes slow and the quality of the food can vary. Their menu is eclectic, ranging from Middle Eastern dishes to hamburgers and fries.
