While serving jury duty, I spent a couple days in a row having lunch at the Penn Quarter location. The soups and bento boxes are great--never tried the sandwiches, but why would you at a teahouse?
Make sure to take your tray downstairs the atmosphere is much more relaxed and they have a fish pond.
I went to the 8th Street location for lunch today and it felt like I got fast food. My sandwich was pre-wrapped and the dressing had soaked through the bread. Add to that the fact that it was cold like it just came out of the fridge and I wondered what exactly I was paying for.
They do have a great salted oat cookie (now in chocolate!) and the tea is still fantastic. I'll venture back for those two items but you'll not find me paying for lunch here again.

Love the food and drinks but find that it's usually packed and hard pressed to find a seat.
